Twiggy, who will celebrate her 59th birthday on Friday, still looks as fabulous as ever. And now the face of Marks & Spencer insists that for today's women, life really can begin at 40. Twiggy is sharing the secrets of her fantastic looks exclusively with readers of The Mail on Sunday's You magazine. In a new series that starts today, she asserts that women can still be at the cutting edge of fashion and look fantastic from the age of 40 onwards. She says: 'For me, getting older is about harnessing all the things I have learned about what does and doesn't suit me. The 40s onwards are when we can really begin to enjoy ourselves.' For many women, this is when everything comes together and they look better than ever. 'The great thing about getting older is you don't have to do, wear or say anything you don't want to. It wasn't until my very late 30s that I stopped worrying about what other people thought.' And she emphasises that looking good is as much about how you feel about yourself as what you wear.
